Job Description

As a healthcare assistant at the radiology clinic, you are responsible for the care of our patients before, during, and after examinations. Your tasks vary depending on which modality you are working on for the day and which examinations are to be conducted. You work closely with patients and in our IT systems for patient flow, as well as having contacts with referring clinics.

You will have a responsible and stimulating job where you can participate in development work at the clinic. With us, you are employed 24/7 but work daytime during the introduction period, which varies from person to person and according to the needs of the operation.

Team

The radiology clinic in Norrköping is one of Sweden's most modern radiology clinics and performs approximately 90,000 radiological examinations on patients from primarily the eastern part of Östergötland each year. The clinic applies both traditional X-ray as well as ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and fluoroscopy. The clinic is in constant development and also conducts teaching and research. The clinic has a total of about 110 employees, including doctors, radiology nurses, healthcare assistants, and medical administrators. Our clinic also has trained reviewing radiographers.

About You

We are looking for you who are a trained healthcare assistant with a great interest in technology and continuous development. It is an advantage if you have experience working as a healthcare assistant in a hospital or in radiology.

You use knowledge, skills, and abilities in your interactions during patient meetings or care situations. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
